James Webb Space Telescope Captures Herbig-Haro Mysteries

The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is currently deployed in a solar orbit near the Sun–Earth L2 Lagrange point, about 1.5 million kilometers (930,000 mi) from Earth. The telescope's five-layer sunshield protects it from warming by the Sun, Earth, and Moon. The James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) was assembled at Northrop Grumman's cleanroom facilities in Redondo Beach, California. It was launched from ESA's launch site at Kourou in French Guiana on December 25, 2021.
