In a dramatic turn of events, country music star Zac Brown has been granted a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Kelly Yazdi. The move comes in response to an Instagram post Yazdi made, which Brown claims violated a confidentiality agreement and damaged his reputation.

The 45-year-old musician, known for his work with the Zac Brown Band, filed a lawsuit in Georgia on Friday. He sought an “emergency temporary restraining order, injunctive relief, and damages arising out of several past and threatened violations” of the confidentiality agreement Yazdi had signed during her employment with the band from August 2022 to February 2024. By Saturday, Brown had secured the restraining order, requiring Yazdi to remove the controversial post.

Yazdi is a SAG-AFTRA actress and stuntwoman. She hinted at “narcissistic abuse” in her posts. Yazdi described controlling behaviors by an unnamed individual. Many speculated this person to be Brown.

Consequently, they requested the court to prevent Yazdi from making any defamatory or false statements about Brown, his family, or members of the Zac Brown Band.

Brown emphasized his desire to keep personal matters private and protect his family from online harassment.
