The second half of the United Vs Arsenal game saw team Arsenal starting well by dominating the game from the off and thereby creating a few of those goal-scoring chances. Arsenal’s patience had finally brought fruits as Saka leveled the score at the hour mark. Saka scored on the hour, when Gabriel Jesus received from the outstanding Odegaard, in the box, drawing Arsenal level. United’s Eriksen fed the ball into teammate Fernandes, who then played a line-breaking pass beyond the defense of Arsenal, to find the advancing Rashford. Rashford kept his cool to slot through Arsenal’s Ramsdale.
In another ten minutes, United’s no. 10 struck his second goal of the game. Again, it was the combination of Rashford, Fernandes, and Eriksen that gave United the breather as they advanced into the final 10 minutes of the game.
Never in the history of Premier League has United ever lost a game once leading at half-time. This record was intact as the game between United and Arsenal finished 3-1 in United’s favor.
