Lakers Davis Puts Sceptics To Rest

Anthony Davis, the Lakers’ star centre, was once again the target of criticism after the Lakers lost Game 2 to the Bay Area on Thursday night, but he answered with a huge comeback performance to help LA to the easy victory at home. Davis wasn’t the one who got the Lakers’ night off to a good start. D’Angelo Russell had an outstanding first period, scoring 11 of LA’s first 17 points and 13 of them. But at the end of the quarter, both he and the Lakers would lose steam. Russell played a significant role in setting the tone early in Game 3 by scoring all 21 of his points there.

The LeBron Field Goal for Lakers

James began his night by making free throws, and as part of a 13-0 run that gave the Warriors the lead just before halftime, he added a layup in transition, a three, and a three in the corner. With little over 6 minutes remaining in the second quarter, LeBron attempted his first field goal.

Warriors War With Fouls

As the defending champs second half was an error filled one, Golden State was limited to just 18 points in the second quarter. In a quarter where they only scored 18 points, they received calls for two technical fouls, a flagrant foul, and a take foul.
