After a clear victory, Donald Trump wins the Republican Primary in New Hampshire (NH) and this greatly strengthens his chances to win the nomination of the party for 2024 Presidential Election.

Trump gained over fifty-four percent of the votes, exceeding Nikki Haley who was his only sole Competitor in the NH Primary Contest.

Even though Haley shows a remarkable outcome with more than 43% of the votes, Trump’s power is inarguable over in New Hampshire. Trump criticizes Haley for continuing the race, suggesting that she is a “faker”.

Undefeated, Haley assures that it’s just the start of the primaries from New Hampshire. Finally, she expresses the criticisms of his candidacy based on negativity, chaos, and also voting history. However, Haley turns her attention quickly towards South Carolina – her home state where she plans on making a ‘comeback’.

The NH Primary was characterized by some special dynamics. Although Trump’s win in Iowa made his rivals Ron DeSantis and Vivek Ramaswamy drop out of the race & endorse him. But Haley relying on the independent voters, Governor Chris Sununu’s support, and an attacking campaign decided to remain in the race.

Exit polls show that Trump’s popularity is winning votes from the people with different demographics. As Haley gained ground among the graduates and independent voters, her performances in these segments weren’t strong enough to affect Trump’s huge supremacy across the other parts.

After the Associated Press announcement recommending Trump, Haley congratulates him but she denies any allegations that everything is over. Trump retorts on Haley’s significance in the New Hampshire and warns her to stay out of the race.

In such a situation, the Republican nominee spotlight is now on Nevada, the US Virgin Islands, and South Carolina. This means that Haley’s campaign will be able to sustain until March 5 (Super Tuesday). Researchers, though, are very doubtful about Haley’s ability to win. This is in view, considering the type of electorate and also requirements of these primaries.

Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel speaks out, questioning her own ability to be the nominee. She underscores the necessity of unity around Trump and also states that Biden must be defeated in the future elections. Sununu supports Haley in his statement saying that it is too early to tell the other side of the story. He said that the main focus should be towards majority voting Republicans.

Even as the fight escalates, Haley reveals her plan for South Carolina and she launches two ads in a $4 million ad campaign. In a “rematch no one wants,” the ads place her as a better option by highlighting her accomplishments while being South Carolina’s governor. Instead, Haley’s campaign turns a corner with ads touting the governor’s South Carolina heritage and his record in office. The ads present her as a tough contender who can reduce the taxes, defend borders, and also address issues raised by the Chinese Communist threat.

In the developing saga of the Republican primaries, Donald Trump’s victory in New Hampshire paves the way for more battles ahead. Interestingly, Nikki Haley does not bow to public pressure. She readies herself for a critical duel back home in South Carolina. Politics enthusiasts wait for what changes the future will bring about in the dynamics of the race.
