With winter taking a firm hold of Ohio, multiple counties are in the midst of snow emergencies affecting travel and prompting residents to be careful.
Belmont County has recently put an end to its Level 1 snow emergency, while Noble Country still operates under the same category. On the other hand, in Central Ohio Snow precautions have been issued because of overnight snow and a wintry mix by Morgan County.
Belmont County’s Winter Update
Belmont County officials have helped to calm the situation by declaring Level 1 snow emergency lifted. Although neighboring Noble County is also dealing with these hazardous conditions, it continues to operate at Level 1 emergency status. In Jefferson County no official level has been announced; however, motorists are being directed to stay off the roads if at all possible.
These emergency levels are important for public safety, observing them helps to prevent accidents and ensures everyone’s wellbeing.
In Central Ohio Snow Emergency has been called for Morgan County. The forecast is indicating that the overnight wintry mix will change to rain once temperatures climb, providing relief for the area.
