Identifying hair split ends - Recognizing signs and managing hair for a healthier outcome
Splitting ends–this is a common scourge that makes no distinction between races, ages or sexes. While our hair is resilient, the wear and tear it endures can lead to a common yet troublesome issue: Hair Split Ends. As the oldest and most delicate part of our hair, Split Ends are like an echo from forgotten tresses sending out a warning cry.

Such preventive measures as adjusting frequency of washing our hair, selecting the appropriate brushes to use and hair conditioner chemicals, towel drying carefully followed by avoiding too much heat can all help forestall this dreaded split.
In addition, taking care of our hair from the inside is extremely important. Some foods can also help prevent and minimize Split Ends. For example, eggs are high in protein and zinc; curd is a source of protein and probiotics too. Avocados contain omega-3 fats while walnuts provide vitamin E along with unsaturated fatty acids that nourish hair follicles.
