Additionally, sporting a full head of hair and extensive makeup, he has transformed into Kerr,. For this he has covered his trademark tattoos and adopted prosthetics to achieve the fighter’s look.

This biopic, directed by Benny Safdie, is based on the 2002 HBO documentary of the same name, which explored Kerr’s substance abuse struggles and his friendship with fellow MMA star Mark Coleman.
Furthermore, joining Johnson in the film is Emily Blunt, who plays Kerr’s wife, Dawn Staples. As a matter of fact, Emily Blunt, who happens to be Johnson’s co-star from “Jungle Cruise,” reportedly encouraged him to adapt Kerr’s story after watching the documentary.
