There are so many amazing people who have been chosen for recognition this year, such as the iconic Billy Crystal, the legendary Queen Latifah, the captivating Renée Fleming, the timeless Dionne Warwick, and the immensely talented Barry Gibb. The people getting honored at the KENNEDY CENTER HONORS 2023 Event, have had a huge impact on American life and the arts by being really good at their work.

KENNEDY CENTER HONORS 2023 : BILLY CRYSTAL Tribute

• Lead Storyteller: Rob Reiner
• Presenters: The Rob Reiner, Jay Leno, Meg Ryan, Whoopi Goldberg, Robert De Niro, Bob Costas are the illustrious presenters.
• Tribute Performer: Lin-Manuel Miranda and Marc Shaiman, helped to make a great Billy medley. They were joined by Robert De Niro making the performance even more excellent. The trio performs a classic “It Had to Be You” song.

KENNEDY CENTER HONORS 2023 : QUEEN LATIFAH Tribute

• Former Honoree Presenter: Rita Moreno
• Lead Storyteller: Kerry Washington
• Presenters: Natalie Martin, Kelsey Johnson, Sangeeta Singh
• Tribute Performers: Yo-Yo, D-Nice, RM Band, MC Lyte, Monie Love, and The Clark Sisters perform some amazing renditions of Queen Latifah’s iconic hits.

KENNEDY CENTER HONORS 2023 : RENÉE FLEMING Tribute

• Former Honoree Presenter: Robert De Niro
• Lead Storyteller: Christine Baranski
• Presenters: Sigourney Weaver, Tituss Burgess
• Tribute Performers: The audience was seriously impressed when they saw the amazing performances by the stars like Julia Bullock, Ailyn Pérez, Angel Blue, Nadine Sierra, Dove Cameron, Tituss Burgess, Susan Graham, Christine Baranski, Rev. Stef & Jubilation Choir.

BARRY GIBB Tribute

• Former Honoree Presenter: Amy Grant
• Lead Storyteller: Gloria Estefan
• Presenter: Stephen Gibb
• Tribute Performers: In order to pay tribute to Barry Gibb, Little Big Town, Michael Bublé, Ben Platt, Ariana DeBose, and Chloe Flower collaborated to create a disco-themed melody.

DIONNE WARWICK Tribute

• Former Honoree Presenter: Herbie Hancock
• Lead Storytellers: Debbie Allen
• Presenters: Ego Nwodim, Clive Davis
• Tribute Performers: In this concert, many artists including Mickey Guyton, The Spinners, Cynthia Erivo, Chloe Bailey, and Gladys Knight sang tribute to Dionne Warwick by performing soulful and uplifting songs.
• Host Ref: Gloria Estefan sets the stage for a vibrant performance of both “Conga” and “Get on Your Feet” with the help of Sheila E. in welcoming style.
