Trump News – Trump Indicted for sexual assault on Carroll

The national Media covered extensive Trump News Today. More than a dozen women, including Carroll, have accused Trump of sexual assault or harassment. Caroll made her accusation that the Republican sexually assaulted her in an upscale Manhattan department store’s dressing room in 2019. Donald Trump, 76, rejected it, claiming he was unaware of Carroll and had never met her in the store. Trump retorted that She had created “a fraudulent and false story” to promote a memoir, calling her a “nut job” in his words.

Trump News about the Jury Verdict

Donald Trump was indicted for sexual assault on Carroll E. Jean. Carroll was awarded $5 million after a jury judged Donald Trump responsible for sexually assaulting her in 1996. This verdict might follow the former president as he runs for re-election. The jury reached a divided decision, rejecting Carroll’s allegation of being raped and holding Trump accountable for a less serious sexual assault. In addition, the jury determined that Trump had slandered Carroll after she made her claims public.

Trump News About His Denial

Trump made the decision to skip the civil trial and was not there when the judgement was announced. The verdict, however, deepens Trump’s legal problems and provides Carroll with justice after years of Trump’s mocking and denial of her claims. Trump reaffirmed his denial that he knows Carroll. In a statement posted to his social media account shortly after the conviction was announced, Trump called it “a disgrace” and “a continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time.”.

After the verdict, Trump wrote on ‘Truth Social’ that he had “ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA” who Carroll was. Moreover, he added that the “VERDICT IS A DISGRACE – A CONTINUATION OF THE GREATEST WITCH HUNT OF ALL TIME!”. Additionally, Trump gave the impression that he would approach any inquiries about the case aggressively. The 79-year-old Carroll demanded a retraction of what she claimed were Trump’s false denials of her claims, as well as unspecified damages.

Carroll claimed in a written statement made public after she left the courtroom, that she had sued Trump to,

“clean my identity and to get my life back. The truth is now finally known by everyone. This victory belongs to all women who have endured suffering as a result of being disbelieved, not just to me.”.

Trumps Presidential Campaign Post This Trump News

It was unclear whether the decision would in any way affect Trump’s third presidential campaign, if at all. Obviously, Trump still holds a dominant position among GOP candidates and has had little political fallout from earlier scandals, including the offensive “Access Hollywood” tape and his criminal arrest in New York.

Overall, The Carroll ruling is anticipated to generate financial support for the Trump campaign, is what some sources said. Trump’s town hall event in New Hampshire, will be hosted by CNN’s anchor and correspondent Kaitlan Collins. She has a reputation for confronting Trump while covering the White House. In the immediate wake of the decision, his GOP competitors mainly kept quiet, demonstrating their hesitation to alienate Trump’s fans, who are essential to his chances of winning the nomination.

Former Governor Hutchinson Pleads Trump

Asa Hutchinson, a former governor of Arkansas, urged Trump to withdraw from the election after his indictment and said the jury’s decision should be taken seriously since it “is another example of the indefensible behaviour of Donald Trump.”. In a statement, Hutchinson said, “I have seen directly how a casual and arrogant disrespect for the rule of law may backfire over the course of my over 25 years of service in the courtroom.”.

Trumps Other Controversies

The controversial subject of Trump’s treatment of women was brought up again during the trial. In New York, he is defending himself in a criminal case involving hush money payments to a porn actor. He, his family, and his company have all been sued by the state attorney general for alleged financial malfeasance.

Inquiries over Trump’s alleged misuse of classified documents, his actions after the 2020 election, and his involvement in the protest at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 are also being handled by other sources. All of those accusations of Trump’s bad attitude are refuted.
